Welded Sieve Mesh

Welded screen is a screening product in which metal wires (such as stainless steel wires, low-carbon steel wires, manganese steel wires, etc.) are welded into a grid - shaped structure with interlaced warp and weft through resistance welding or argon arc welding processes. It has the characteristics of high strength and good impact resistance, and is widely used in heavy - industry screening scenarios such as mining, metallurgy, and building materials.

Description

Core Structure and Characteristics
Structural Characteristics:
Adopting straight wire welding process, the intersection of warp and weft wires are fixed by high temperature fusion welding to form a rigid mesh, without the loosening potential of woven screen mesh.
Common specifications: wire diameter 0.5-12mm, aperture 1-200mm, according to the demand for customized mesh size and frame reinforcement design.
Performance Advantages:
High strength bearing: the strength of welded joints reaches more than 80% of the strength of the wire body, which can withstand the impact of large particles and heavy-duty screening.
Wear-resistant and deformation-resistant: the wire material is wear-resistant (e.g. manganese steel wire), and the welded structure is not easy to relax the mesh surface due to long-term vibration, which is suitable for coarse screening.
Stable screening efficiency: high precision of aperture, not easy to deform in long-term use, to ensure the consistency of screening particle size. Application areas
Mining: used for initial screening after coarse crushing of iron ore, copper ore, etc., separating large ores from fine-grained materials.
Sand and gravel aggregates: the mechanism of sand production line on the crushed stone material for grading, such as 5-10mm aggregate screening.
Metallurgical industry: screening blast furnace slag, steel slag and other metallurgical wastes, recovering metal particles or preparing building materials.
Environmental protection engineering: screening construction waste in solid waste treatment, or as a primary filter screen for sewage treatment.
Selection and maintenance suggestions
Selection according to material characteristics:
High hardness and large particles: choose manganese steel welded screen mesh (wire diameter 5-12mm, hole diameter 20-200mm).
Corrosive materials: 316 stainless steel welded screen mesh (wire diameter 0.5-3mm, hole diameter 1-10mm).
Maintenance points:
Regularly check whether the welded joints are cracked or not, especially under high impact conditions, the welded joints need to be reinforced every quarter.
The metal screen should be sprayed with antirust paint in humid environment, and the stainless steel screen should avoid contacting chlorine ions to prevent intergranular corrosion.
